Seaworld

While Jeff and Kelly were here we went with them to Sea World.  The camera battery was not charged so I only got a few pictures.  These were my favorites.

We never have any pictures of the both of us together.

Family Picnic

My brother and his family were here for the annual family picnic this year.  We thought my Mom would especially enjoy having a picture of us all together.  We love you Mom!

Palm Springs

Phillip and Tanner were away hiking in Zion National Park for high adventure so I took the other kids to Palm Springs for a couple of days.  It was called Rancho Las Palmas Resort and it was beautiful.  We were in the pool almost the entire time we were there because it was 112 degrees!  When we did get out of the pool we were dry in a matter of minutes.  We also took a friend of Emily's too.   It was a blast.

Kate loves shoes

Some days I just can't believe Kate is 7 years old and growing up so fast.  I never want to forget this moment.  It reminds me of the time when she was about 3 years old and we had just arrived at the mall.  She stopped us, took a long deep breath through her nose, and  with wonder in her eyes... she said, MOM... I SMELL SHOES!  Thats my girl.

Balboa Island

My Mom, (the one on the right with the same exact smile) treated me to lunch on the island with Emily Chad and Kate to celebrate my birthday.  It was a beautiful day, full of childhood memories for me; rides on the ferry, chocolate covered bananas, salt water taffy, and lots of sun!  I was sad to hear there aren't any more ducks to feed around the island.  Don't know what happened to them but according to my Mom I fed them lunch every Sunday for a few years. (My favorite memory of all... although it rivals closely to my  kick and go scooter) 

That was the biggest bowl of chowder i think i'd ever seen.  Chad fulfilled his duty to not let a drop go to waist.
